My work is about capturing simple, beautiful moments that speak to me of city life. I’m drawn to randomly occurring urban vignettes; of manmade components in proximity with natural elements. Especially intrigued by raw, weathered textures of old wood, bricks and stones, I’m fascinated by the interaction between nature and civilization. When I find these comforting little instances in time, in unexpected places, I express them with unpredictable compositions and bold colours.
